H&M opens July 25th

July 2nd, 2008

The countdown is on! The first Seattle-area H&M is opening at 10 a.m. on July 25th at SouthCenter. YIPPEE! If you’re not familiar with the department store, it’s known for its stylish and affordable clothes. Some highlights for this fall are high-waisted skirts beginning at $34.90, tailored coats for $69.90 and bold accessories for $12.90. You seriously can’t beat the prices! Now when you watch the Today Show fashion segment and they show an outfit from H&M, you don’t have to feel left out! Two more H&M’s are scheduled to open later this year – one on Pike Street and one at U Village.

I love H&M- its about time our city got one! But I have to say, Im slightly sad that the novelty will be lost for me a little bit. Im not a fan of seeing the same article of clothing Im wearing on someone else around every corner. When the hype dies down a little, It will be a great outlet for inexpensive fashion.
