Dressing your pumpkin

October 7th, 2007

Pumpkin hatKeeping your little pumpkin warm this October has never been cuter! These adorable jack-o-lantern hats will keep little kids’ heads warm and put everyone around you in the Halloween mood. Local artist Christina Englehorn knits each oh-so-scary pumpkin by hand. She also knits several other hats including frogs, ladybugs and monkeys. Found at Bouncing Wall on Queen Anne, they cost $45.

I have a frog version of this hat for my 1 1/2 year old and it’s AWESOME. It stays on really nicely, is warm and cozy soft and he seriously gets TONS of comments anytime I take him out in it… makes me want to grab my camera every time. Cute, practical and each one is hand made so no two are exactly alike – original.
