The construction nightmare in the south Lake Union neighborhood is starting to pay off. While cranes, dump trucks and flaggers are still prominant, something great is coming along: boutiques! Last week my friend Bernard and I went for coffee when I ran upon Tottini. The best way to describe it is an urban baby’s playground for nursery furnishings and toys. The shop reminded me of a baby store in SoHo - although this one is much bigger. This orange plastic Puppy by Magis is great. Use it as a seat or a climbing contraption for your tot. It comes in several sizes and colors and ranges in price from $58-$390.
