We all know that when you don’t know what to do in life you turn to the magic 8 ball. (We all do that, don’t we?) Well, local artist Julie Charles has taken that concept to the next level. With different answers in them, such as “yeah right” from the sarcastic ball to “sell tech stocks” in the financial ball, these ceramic “fortune balls” will help you through any tough situation. Seriously, just ask the ball! Her creatively-designed mosaic balls start at around $100. I found these in Venue, a great shop if you’re looking for a unique gift. About a dozen local artists sell their products there, including Julie Charles.
