This is not a child-friendly store. I hadn't planned on shopping, however I popped into the store on a Saturday morning after attending a Kindermusik class with my 3 year old at Gilman Village. To prevent him from running around the store, I proceeded to sit him in front of the large store window at the back of the store and gave him a bag of Cheerios and a fruit roll-up as a distration. He was sitting right next to me so I could keep an eyer on him. I also had a juice box in my hand, which I was holding (since he had refused it), and the store clerk walked over an told me that she didn't want any food in the store. Well - there was no sign posted on the front door prohibiting food or drink (like most places have if it is a problem). I am sure if I had a latte in hand without a child, she would have been more than happy to let me shop. I will take my shopping dollars elsewhere - your loss honey since I spend a lot of money on clothes. I plan to tell all my other shopping mommy friends to avoid your store like the plague.
